Home-Start East Lancashire Raises Funds at Pizza and Pasta Night in Burnley

Home-Start in East Lancashire hosted its second fundraising event of 2026 with a successful Pizza and Pasta Night at Aldo Due Ristorante on Thursday, 14 May 2026. Supporters from across East Lancashire came together to enjoy freshly prepared Italian food, take part in an Italian-themed quiz, and help raise money for local families who need support.
The evening raised a total of £206.05, with all proceeds helping Home-Start to continue its work supporting families and young children across East Lancashire. The charity provides practical and emotional support to parents, helping ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
Special thanks go to Judith Gluyas, Home-Start Trustee and Fundraising Champion, alongside the team at Aldo Due, volunteers, staff, and supporters who helped make the fundraising evening such a success.
Home-Start East Lancashire will continue hosting community fundraising events throughout the year to help raise vital funds for local families. Next is the ‘Family Fun Day’ on 11th July 2026.
